The first edition of the ACSOS Community Newsletter covers four key topics: the ACSOS 2026 Call for Papers (with a submission deadline of April 17, 2026); an upcoming hybrid seminar by Dr. Peter Lewis on Reflective Social Intelligence for Autonomous Agents (April 2, 2026); the FoMaSE project, a 5-year, 1.1M€ Italian Science Fund grant awarded to Roberto Casadei (University of Bologna) focused on macro-programming-based software engineering and Artificial Collective Intelligence; and two new journal publications — FieldVMC, extending a self-organising morphogenesis model into a field-based aggregate computation (published in Complex and Intelligent Systems), and Proximity-Aware Self-Federated Learning (PSFL), a fully decentralised IoT clustering approach based on aggregate computing (published in Elsevier's Internet of Things). Both papers are follow-ups to work originally presented at ACSOS 2024.
